Evolka

Evolka / Consent

Health data
consent.

The app asks for three separate permissions. Each one is your own choice, given by ticking it yourself. This page is the full text behind each of them.

AppLast updated:

1. Health data processing

Asked once, when you create your account. Evolka cannot build your program without it, so the app does not continue until you give it.

I allow Furthersoft Limited to process the following health data to build, adjust and track my training program and nutrition targets:

  • Date of birth, sex, height and weight
  • Injuries, pain and movement limits I report
  • Workout logs: exercises, sets, loads and perceived effort
  • Food diary and nutrition targets, and allergies I report
  • Data I allow the app to read from Apple Health or Health Connect, such as steps, heart rate, heart-rate variability, sleep, weight and body composition

This data is stored on Evolka’s servers in Germany (Hetzner). It is not sold and not used for advertising. It is not sent to an AI provider unless I also give the AI permission below.

2. Cycle data processing

Asked only if you open Cycle Tracking. You can use Evolka without it.

I allow Furthersoft Limited to store period days, symptoms, sexual activity and test results I enter, and menstruation data I allow the app to read from Apple Health or Health Connect, to show my cycle and adjust training to my cycle phase. Only I can see the details. The coach only learns the cycle phase, never the details.

3. AI processing

Asked before the first AI feature runs. If you decline, your weekly program is still built, by our own rule-based planner without AI.

I allow Furthersoft Limited to send, through its servers, only the data each feature needs to its AI provider, OpenAI, which may process it in the United States:

  • Coach replies: my message and, as far as the reply needs it, my program, training history and profile
  • Weekly program and meal plan: goals, profile, injuries, allergies and recent workouts
  • Food photo recognition: the photo of my plate, with location and camera details removed; the photo is not stored
  • Document reading: a body-composition (InBody-style) report I upload

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw any of these at any time. Withdrawal stops processing from then on. It does not make earlier processing unlawful.

  • AI processing: Profile → Data & privacy → AI processing
  • Health data: Profile → Data & privacy → Erase my history, or Delete my account. Without this consent the app cannot build a program.
  • Cycle data: delete it in Cycle Tracking, or erase your history
  • Or email info@evolka.app

More detail is in the privacy policy.
